About
The desks already exist. Nobody made them findable.
CoGrow is a workspace marketplace for India. Businesses list the seats they are already paying for; freelancers, remote workers and small teams book them: verified, contracted and paid for in one place.
Why we exist
Two problems that are the same problem.
Half-used offices sit paid-for and silent across every Indian city. Rent, power and upkeep go out every month on chairs that earn nothing.
At the same time, the people who would happily sit in them are working from kitchen tables and cafés, because the alternative is a lease they don’t want or a space they can’t verify.
Neither side is short of options. They are short of a way to trust each other enough to start.

What we decided
Four choices, and what each one costs us.
Every space is checked before it lists
Registered business, proof they can sublet, proof of the address, real photographs of the actual floor, phone and email verified. A listing goes live after that, not before, which makes us slower to fill a city and much harder to lie to.
The address is not the product
Results show a locality, never a street. The exact address opens when a visit is approved, and contact details when a booking is confirmed. A marketplace that hands out addresses is a directory, and a directory gets used once.
Money runs through the platform
Rent, listing fees, commission and payouts all settle here. It means a receipt, a contract and a statement exist for every booking, and neither side has to trust the other to behave. The record does that.
The network is the reason to stay
A desk is a commodity; the people around it are not. Member profiles, a directory, groups and events are being built as part of the product, not bolted on as a label.
Where we are
Built for India first, and not adapted to it.
Search runs on areas (SG Highway, Navrangpura, Vastrapur) because that is how people here say where they are, not by PIN code. Prices are in rupees and read the way rupees read. It works on a phone browser, because for most of the people we are building for that is the only screen there is.
We are early, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. We are opening city by city, checking every space by hand as we go. The community layer comes after the marketplace, not alongside it.
Location
The area you name (SG Highway, Navrangpura, Vastrapur), then the locality
Money
Rupees, grouped the Indian way: ₹2,45,000, not ₹245,000
Device
The phone browser is the first target, not the fallback
Verification
By hand, space by space, before anything is listed

A seat is what you book. A network is what you get.
Whether you have desks to fill or need one to work from, it starts the same way.
